TODAY IN HISTORY 1800s

This is kind of fun, isn't it? I get my facts from a site called...This Day in History. Occasionally, I might throw something out that isn't in the time frame of my historicals, but most of the time, I'll stick to the 1800s. Have fun!

1862: Lincoln gives State of the Union address

1824: Presidential election goes to the House
Congress decides outcome of presidential election

1884 Elfego Baca battles Anglo cowboys
