RAIDER'S HEART by Marcia Gruver

Dawsey Wilkes lives a life of luxury and loneliness, but she doesn't realize how much until she's kidnapped and locked in the shed of the infamouse McRae's. Nor is she prepapred for how much Hooper McRae stirs her senses. As she is allowed freedom outside her prison, and a foolish choice on her part puts her life at risk, Dawsey realizes the things she'd heard about the McRaes were not the complete story. Then, her life takes another unexpected turn and Dawsey faces a difficult choice of the heart.

RAIDER'S HEART was a thoroughly engaging romance that left me smiling. Being from the south, I was completely swept back home with the language and setting of this enjoyable story.
