Well, I read the book to see what all the hoopla was about. It's good, but I didn't see the intense romance so many people are raving about. It's definitely suited for both young adult and adults, and the story does grip you. Yes, I'll read the others in the series. I've got to find out who turns; Edward or Bella. Okay, I cheated and I know who turns, but I've got to find out how they reached the conclusion they did.
For anyone wondering, Stephanie Meyer is a great storyteller, pulling the reader into the love of 17-year-old Bella's life. Is Edward hunky? Yes. Is the book clean? Yes. Can anyone from Junior High age and older relate? Again, yes. But don't take my word for it. Buy, borrow, or check-out the book and see for yourself.

Okay, my daughter started reading the series, fell in love with it and ordered all 4 books. I started reading the 1st book on Saturday morning and finished book 3 yesterday. I would have started and finished the 4th book yesterday, but daughter's still on it. I love the story. While there were parts that I didn't exactly agree with, I think the story pulls the reader in, isn't filled with sex scenes or profanity, and does tell a love story.
Ha! I found you. I couldn't find your business card anywhere, so I tracked you down by your agent, lol.
So how have you been girl?
My daughter Rachel has read all of these books. She enjoyed them and I got the pleasure of seeing her actually reading books instead of playing video games.
Barbara, thanks for your lovely e-mail about my blog. I've enjoyed seeing your web site and I really appreciated working with you through Long Ridge. Congratulations on your published devotionals! I'm thrilled to have been part of your writing journey.

I'm just starting the second book. Glad to see y'all left comments. I've heard book two was the least favored of the four. We'll see. I do want to see the movie though. I like both the main actors.
